It can be a frustrating experience, trying to record when you don't have a quiet, enclosed room to keep out other noises in the house. Originally this piece was just to be the guitars alone, quiet and exposed. But with noise of the TV bleeding in and becoming too much of a distraction, I threw in a sample of Lake Superior that I took back in May and added that in tastefully. And surprisingly, it actually fits with the ebb and flow of the music.
